We went to Loch Awe on a New Year's Break. The pick up at Craven Arms was on time. Our Driver Carl was brilliant, very informative and also great fun. When we got there the staff were very courteous right though our stay. The food was very good to. The room very comfortable. All in all it was a fabulous New Year's Hoilday
With Lochs & Glens. 5 day break. Travelled in past with L&G, first time to this hotel. As expected, up to the usual high standards in all departments.||Journey good, Sandra as driver who again was top class and very helpful. Neall as …
4 night stay at loch awe. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the location couldn’t be better. Considerable choice at breakfast, and a pot of tea waiting for you at the table . The evening menu changed daily. The price of drinks at the bar were reasonable. Some aspects of the hotel were dated but added to the atmosphere. The bedroom was small but adequate. Price of the stay was very reasonable. I would be happy to stay there again.
The place is wonderful. This hotel on this peaceful lake surrounded by greenery is Amazing. Excellent quality/price. Friendly staff. Simple rooms but equipped with all comforts. Game room with lots of board games for adults and children with sofas and a breathtaking view, the same the breakfast room.
Book the meals you want to have at the hotel in good time, especially dinner, because in the whole area there is no place where you can dine. There is only one restaurant a few meters from the hotel which also serves dinner but being the only one for miles it could be full booking.
I recommend this place
Lovely hotel, views beautiful. Very friendly and helpful staff. My room was large and the view from both windows were overlooking the loch and mountains. Not a cheap hotel if you are privately booking. We went through lochs and Glens holiday company, this way it did work out cheaper. Along with the rest of the holiday.
I traveled here with Lochs & Glens Holidays, it is one of their hotels. The first thing I noticed was the spectacular view over the Loch and across to Kilchurn Castle.||Once inside the hotel we were greeted by friendly staff who promptly …
Went on this trip alone had a single room on the 2nd floor, lovely room with a view to the countryside could see the little cottage with the caravan and sheep in the garden. Room had bath and shower towels provided and a heated towel rail …
The hotel is a bit dated but the friendly and helpful staff made up for that. Our room was warm and comfortable with a view of the loch. The food was good and portions large. Our driver Andy was a great source of information and made us all laugh. We will be booking again with Lochs & Glens for next year.
